A minimum of 2 persons per flight, one child under 4 years of age is free of charge when accompanied by two paying passengers. Prices are in $NZ dollars, GST inclusive; per person. Prices and trip details may change without notice and are subject to weather and aircraft un-serviceability. Our cancellation policy is 100% refund beyond 7days, 50% refund within 7days. A full refund is provided if the flight is cancelled by Coromandel Helicopters due to weather or aircraft un-serviceability.
WHERE ARE YOU?
Coromandel Helicopters is based at ‘Mercury Bay Aero Club’ Dakota Drive, Whitianga New Zealand, off the Southern Highway, beside the Whitianga Golf course. There is a large free parking area, a large welcoming congregation area with toilet facilities and light refreshment service.
Coromandel Helicopters also fly out of Matarangi, Pauanui, Coromandel, and surrounding Islands airstrips, for your flexibility and convenience. We also use the Heli pads at Mechanics Bay and Auckland International Airport and Waiheke Island.
PRICING?
Coromandel Helicopters prices for all our flights and packages are per person unless otherwise stated.
Our advertised transfers will include landing fees and are per load, not per person.
Client specific charter flights are charged on a per hour basis, plus applicable landing fees, and waiting/stand by charges may apply; your quotation will clearly detail that which is included in your package. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOUR HELICOPTER FIT?
Coromandel Helicopters fly a Robinson R44, a 4 seat helicopter, providing for your pilot plus three passengers and one additional child under 4 if accompanied by an adult.
WHICH DAY IS BEST?
We fly every day during daylight hours to suit your requirements. Unless its heavy fog or gale force winds, we will try our utmost to arrange a comfortable and memorable flight.
WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the flight is due to depart.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
For each flight we recommend: Camera! Water bottle, sun block and sunglasses.
Each flight differs, so depending on which activity flight you choose a cell phone, weather proof jacket, supportive footwear, sunhat, bathers, blanket, and a chilly bin/esky/cool box.
CAN I USE A CELLPHONE ON BOARD?
Yes! There is no cell phone restriction on board Coromandel Helicopters licensed aircraft operating under Civil Aviation visual flight rules
